It's almost the end of the year, but we still have another update in-store for you. This new update features many notable changes, including bot modifications, a new branch of US Multirole Fighters and a new US Premium warbird, alongside a welcome return of one of the most popular events this year - keep an eye out for a dedicated article coming soon! The New Branch of US Multirole Fighters

The biggest addition with the new update is the introduction of a new branch to the US Tech Tree codenamed Thunderbolts. The Thunderbolt branch includes:

• Tier II Boeing P-26 Peashooter
• Tier III Seversky P-35
• Tier IV Republic P-43 Lancer
• Tier V Republic XP-44 Rocket
• Tier VI Republic P-47B Thunderbolt
• Tier VII Republic P-47N Thunderbolt
• Tier VIII Republic XP-72
• Tier IX Republic F-84B Thunderjet
• Tier X Republic F-84F Thunderstreak

New Tier VIII Premium Plane: Lockheed XP-58 Chain Lightning

A new plane is landing in the Premium Shop - the Tier VIII US Heavy Fighter, the Lockheed XP-58 Chain Lightning. Historically this plane was used extenisively throughout the war with Japan, from the outset until the end of the war.

Bot Modifications

Bots could always be better and as such we have made a few necessary changes and modifications. Bots will now use different ammunition depending on their skill level. "Beginner" bots will use standard ammo belts, whereas "Fighter" and "Veteran" bots will not have this constraint. Also bots will be less likely to collide with static objects on maps and now have the ability to use consumables while in the heat of battle.

As usual, this is only a teaser of what is to come with Update 1.9.2 - we want to keep some of the cards close to our chests... for the meantime anyway.
