Pilots,

Dive into the latest features of World of Warplanes Update 1.9.11, with brand new planes soaring their way into the game, and updated damage models of existing planes!  There's more to come later this month, so stay tuned for further additions to the game!

Warbirds of Dunkirk and LaGG-3-4

• Supermarine Spitfire Mk Ia

  The Spitfire is one of the most iconic planes in history. Following their use during Operation Dynamo, and in proving to be a terrific defender of the skies against Germany during the Battle of Britain, the Spitfire was a symbol of hope in a time of hopelessness. With Update 1.9.11 and our upcoming Dunkirk missions, you can take to the skies in your very own Spitfire! Check out some glorious screenshots of the Spitfire in action in our gallery below!

• Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-3

  The pièce de résistance of the Luftwaffe, this German Fighter was a fierce combatant, and an almost unrivalled dominator of the skies, until it met its match during the Battle of Britain in the stoic and iconic Spitfire. The Bf 109 E-3 took part in the aerial battles above Dunkirk, and you'll be able to jump into its cockpit for the upcoming Operation Dynamo missions! • Lavochkin LaGG-3-4

  Also joining the World of Warplanes roster for Update 1.9.11, we have this particularly ferocious Soviet warbird. Keep an eye out for further announcements on the LaGG-3-4 in the very near future!
