Monthly Missions: Meteor Watch

NASA says that there will be only be one observable meteor shower this August but we think they missed one: Wargaming’s own “Meteor” in World of Warplanes! For gamescom-month, we’re pulling out all the stops to offer you a unique set of missions, which, upon completion, will give you the chance to win the exclusive, never-before-seen Tier VII Gloster Meteor I! Be sure to check out our weekly mission announcements regularly this August to not miss any part of this month-long, multi-part adventure!

 

MONTHLY MISSIONS

These missions are available in-game from Friday 1 August at 08:00 until Monday 1 September at 07:30 CEST (UTC+2).

Mission 1: Good Buddies

Goal

Assemble or join a Flight and win a battle flying the required aircraft.

Reward

30% extra Credits for the battle

Conditions
  • Only battles in aircraft of Tier IV and upward count for the mission
  • Must be playing in a flight
  • Every flight member gets the same reward
  • Can be achieved up to three times per day

Mission 2: Buddies for Life

Goal

Accomplish the "Good Buddies" mission 20 times.

Reward

1 x Self-Sealing Fuel Tank

Conditions

Once per account

Mission 3: Hunting Meteors I

Goal

Win 250 battles flying the required aircraft. A battle counts only if you are one of the top 10 experience earners on your team.

Reward

4 days of Premium Account

Conditions
  • Only battles in aircraft of Tier IV and upward count for the mission
  • Only base XP counts (bonuses for the first victory, premium account, etc., will not be counted to determine the rankings).
  • Once per account

Mission 4: Meteor Shower

Goal

Accomplish all "Hunting Meteors" missions (part I-V) – keep an eye out for parts II-V of the “Hunting Meteors” mission on our Weekly Missions page!

Reward
  • British Tier VII Fighter Gloster Meteor I
  • 1 x Hangar Slot

Conditions

Once per account
