Are you as skillful with a brush and pencil as you are with your joystick or gamepad? Have you always dreamed about creating a piece of art that would make it into the game? Well, here’s your chance!
We’re holding a Create Your Emblem! Contest, asking every participant to draw their own historical emblem that stands a chance of being included in our in-game selection. How will it work? Find out below!
Contest Rules
- Design an emblem for an aircraft in the game. Designate which plane your emblem is for when you submit it.
- Make sure that your emblem is historically correct and fits to the plane of the nation that you’re submitting it for (e.g. no old-fashioned German font for an American fighter)
- Research aircraft emblems of WWII so that your submission is properly based on an historic example. Include your sources with your submission.
- Your submission must be clearly distinguishable as an original creation and not be a simple copy-paste from an already existing emblem off the internet.
- Try to have your emblem be as high-quality as possible (high resolution, clean edges, etc.)
- Maintain the 1:1 square format of already existing in-game emblems.
- You may use any image-editing software you choose (e.g. Photoshop, Paint, etc.) for the creation of your emblem.
- Post your emblem into the Contest Thread on the forum. (in English only)
- The winners will be selected by our internal Community Crew.
Timeframe & Conditions
- You have from the date of this publication until 20 July to post your submissions in the Contest Thread (in English only)
- Your creation must be in accordance with Wargaming’s End User License Agreement and Terms of Service.
- Emblems that are deemed offensive by our Community judges (for example images with sexual connotations, inappropriate references/symbols like swastika, etc.) will naturally be excluded from the competition.
- If the image quality of a winning emblem isn’t high enough, it might need to be reworked/retouched by our graphical artists. We will inform the creator of the artwork of this process.

As you can see, there are a lot of prizes to be claimed! Apart from earning a nice amount of gold, the two best submissions will be integrated into the game! Our graphical artists will make sure that the emblems correspond to our technical needs and then the developers will include the winning creations in one of our future updates.
