Winter Creative Contest

Are you not only a Wargamer but also an artist at heart? Do you have glue running in your veins and paint brushes for fingers? Or maybe you feel like you’re the next Steven Spielberg, because you dream in nicely-edited video sequences and subtitles float into the air whenever you speak?

Whatever it is, if you have a creative mind then you have to take part in our Winter Creative Contest. Let your imagination run free, have fun and produce whatever you want. A painting, sculpture, handcrafted model, or even a short film or play – anything goes as long as it revolves around either World of Tanks or World of Warplanes, and shows enough holiday spirit.

Naturally, since the holiday season is also the season of giving, we’ll be rewarding the best entries with lots of gold and exclusive premium vehicles for both World of Tanks and World of Warplanes.

Objective

Produce a creative work themed around World of Tanks or World of Warplanes that’s fitting for the festive holiday season. Submit your entry in the form of a picture or video to our dedicated forum thread then hope that you get the jury’s vote and win one of the great prizes.

How to participate

There will be two categories that you can submit your work to – pictures and videos.

The picture category is reserved for a visual presentation of your handcrafted work. The displayed piece must be themed around the holiday season in either World of Tanks or World of Warplanes. This can be anything from a photograph of snow tanks, to jelly planes or hand-painted images of either one. Basically the idea is to show us with a creative work of art how a talented Wargamer celebrates the winter holidays. This category is better suited to show off the creative work of just one person per entry.

To participate, you have to post your picture (it must be 2 MB or less in a common image format such as .jpg, .png or .bmp) in the dedicated Picture Category thread.

The video category is for videos that are themed around World of Tanks or World of Warplanes and show us your celebration of the winter holidays. From a funny sketch that you play out on stage with your friends to acting out a short play with military vehicle models – anything goes. If it can be captured on video, then it can be submitted to the contest as well. Of course you’re free to use video editing tools and can add animation or special effects to enhance your works. This category is better suited to show off the creative work of a group of people.

To participate, you have to upload your video to YouTube (at least 720p HD quality is required) and post the link to it in the dedicated Video Category thread.

Don’t forget to include the name of all clearly visible participants in the video description on YouTube as well and let us know who put the video together (the author) so that we can give that person an additional reward in case of a win. The maximum number of people that can be rewarded for work on one video is 10.

Timeframe

The contest runs from Tuesday December 10^th until Wednesday January 1^st 19:00 CET (GMT+1). You have until that moment to submit your work in either of the categories.

Conditions

• The winners will be chosen in a vote of the EU Community Team and will be determined by how many individual votes an entry accumulates.
• Only one entry per game per player is allowed (i.e., one for World of Tanks and one for World of Warplanes). Players cannot submit works for both categories for the same game.
• This competition is open to all players with a valid Wargaming-account. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain parental or guardian permission to enter the competition.
