World of Warplanes Open Beta Test Starting on July 4th!

We are pleased to announce that the Open Beta Test for World of Warplanes will be starting on Thursday July 4^th!

Many of you have been eagerly awaiting World of Warplanes since the project was announced. Some of you may have already taken part in the Closed Beta Test. Soon it will be your chance to join in the final stage of testing and to give us your feedback before the game is officially released.

The Open Beta Test gives you the chance to fly a multitude of aircraft from the 1930’s to the Korean War in the 1950’s. Planes are from the United States, the Soviet Union, Germany and Japan with more planned for the future.

A number of new features have just been introduced to the game in preparation for the Open Beta Test including in-game tactical tips, crews and crew skills, consumables and premium ammo, a new tutorial and two brand new maps.

At a later stage in the Open Beta Test, you will also be able to experience the new Unified Premium Account, which will let you carry your premium account status across multiple Wargaming titles. During the Open Beta, pilots will receive special in-game tokens which can be redeemed for Unified Premium Account status.

Everybody is invited to join the Open Beta Test. No invite code is needed! All you need to do is register and play! If you already have a Wargaming ID through playing World of Tanks, then you can use the same account for World of Warplanes.

It’s time to get ready for the Open Beta Test! We’d like as many people to test the game as possible, and it doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned tester or completely new to the process. Will you be joining us in July?
