You have all been faithful World of Warplanes followers for a long time while the game progressed in Closed Beta-status. Now that Open Beta is almost upon us, the game is more polished than ever, ready to welcome masses of eager test pilots in the coming days. As such, we thought it high time to throw some in-game specials and other events your way.

To keep you informed about all the action that awaits you in the month of July, we’ve come up with this calendar to show you in advance when each event will happen. Check out the schedule below and prepare to Get Airborne!

4^th of July Weekend – For the first special of the Open Beta we pay tribute to a host of the most fascinating American warplanes out there. Log in frequently to take full advantage of all the bonuses that we’ve got prepared for you!

Bastille Day Weekend – What better to celebrate the French national holiday than a firework of XP- and income-boosts all over the place? Get ready to say ‘Ooh la la…’ pilots!

Advent of the Jet Era – We celebrate the anniversary of the first ever jet-engine plane to enter mass production with a neat little special for all the high speed-aficionados out there!

Churchill’s Gift – Thanks to British Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s generosity back in 1941, you get to enjoy great bonuses for your P-40’s in the game. Better get grinding for it to be ready!

Watch Your Six! – In this two-part special, we multiply your XP income all weekend long. Move your joysticks into reach and prepare to Get Airborne for it, Pilots!
