Once again the press have been writing all about World of Warplanes in the gaming media. See what they have been saying in our regular roundup!
Curse.com presents a video interview with Jeremy Monroe, the General Manager of Wargaming North America. He speaks about the Japanese planes, the cloud and sun mechanics and warplane customisation.
American news magazine Forbes takes a look at what Wargaming had to offer at the PAX Prime games show, noting that World of Warplanes “showcases a serious dedication to physics and historical accuracy.”
Kona’s Korner sat down at PAX Prime and played some World of Warplanes. In their words: “I was shown live gameplay that left me speechless. The amount of detail that has been incorporated into this game is a must see.”
Niezgrani, a Polish site has been playing the World of Warplanes beta, describing it as “a pretty good aerial fight combat shooter (for lack of a batter term)” and “offers great variety in a simple, polished engine.”
The folks from Gamer Strategy were also at PAX Prime and got to have a go at World of Warplanes. They rated it as “an all-round solid game” that “showed a lot of potential. The graphics, UI and gameplay are a major step up from World of Tanks.”
Finally, XGN.nl presents an interview with Global Brand Director, Al King who talks about the amazing things coming in World of Warplanes and beyond. Although it is a Dutch site, the interview is in English!
