Wargaming at gamescom 2013

It's finally here - gamescom 2013! Naturally, Wargaming is present in Cologne with its own booth and a tightly packed schedule full of fun events to showcase the latest developments from all of our products. This year, we've scaled up the festivities even further to present you a bigger portfolio of games and give you a more personal hands-on access to play your favourite title.

Find us on the fair ground in Hall 8, Stand A030, where our friendly staff will welcome you to our spacious 700+ square metre booth. Inside, you’ll find a big stage, a pro-players lounge and three gaming areas on not one, but two floors! You heard right. This year, our booth will include a second floor on which eSports enthusiasts will be able to participate in live competitive gaming matches that will take place all throughout the event!

Depending on your preferences, you will want to either head right towards the main stage, or queue up in one of three lines to get your hands on the latest versions of World of Tanks, World of Warplanes or – for the first time ever in Europe – World of Tanks XBOX 360 Edition. 40 high-end PC’s, equipped with everything from headphones, joysticks to gamepads, as well as 10 XBOX 360 stations await the eager fans for their private testing session.

Should you choose to not want to wait in line, there’ll be no shortage of things to discover on the main floor. Spectators can follow the action from the gaming areas on large overhead screens that will be broadcasting non-stop for your viewing pleasure. Chat with other fans of the game, take a picture with the community staff, or stay for one of our infamous dance-shows, which will be happening regularly on stage between the events. 

Speaking of the stage, this is where you’ll want to be to get all the latest info and insights on what’s happening in the Wargaming world. Whether it’s gameplay demos, live design presentations, contests or the always interesting developer Q&A’s, our Wargaming Community Hosts will make sure you have a good time when attending our live on-stage program. Keep your ears open for highly anticipated reveals on upcoming updates, or try and collect some of the highly sought-after goodies that so many of you crave!

If you can’t make it to Cologne yourself, there are still plenty of options for you to take in the gamescom experience:

• The entire event will be broadcasted via LiveStream, which this year will be commentated by our team of international casters, covering the event in English, German and even Russian!
• If you want to make sure to never miss an event on stage, you can check our dedicated gamescom Calendar to know in advance when a certain event is happening!
• Finally, you can always follow our on-going gamescom news coverage. This will be updated as often as possible throughout the event to give you snippets of all the action that will be happening in and around our gamescom booth.
