Try out some new missions in memory of the ace Soviet test pilot Vladimir Kokkinaki!

Vladimir Kokkinaki may not be a household name, but the man’s contributions to aviation as a test pilot for the Soviet Union are the stuff of legend. Born in 1904, Vladimir gave a whopping 44 years of service to the Soviet Air Force, setting twenty-two aviation world records along the way. 

Vladimir was awarded with the Soviet Union’s highest honour, the title ‘Hero of the Soviet Union’, after flying across Russia from Moscow to Spass-Dalny, covering 7,580km in just over 24 hours. He died in 1985, but well and truly made his mark on the pages of history.
