When Version 0.5.1 was introduced back in August, nobody expected that the extension to the Soviet tech tree would begin not with a Yak but rather an additional Polikarpov fighter – namely the I-17. This successor to the massively popular I-16 model never entered service and remained a prototype without ever seeing any action.
