The launch of World of Warplanes happened just a few months ago and we have already implemented the first major game update. You can trust us, this is just the beginning! There are numerous features currently under development and we are sure that many of them will be of great interest you, regardless of whether or not you are a hardcore player.
There are many clans and groups of players in the community who are fighting for air superiority in random battles or engaging in eSports tournaments! Now you have another great opportunity to organise yourselves into bigger groups and participate in team activities in the Squadrons Form Up event!
Over a five week period you will be able to win attractive prizes. You have to keep in mind that you cannot do it alone. You will need to cooperate with your friends, taking part in… the missions!
Okay, by now you’re probably wondering what you have to do. It’s simple. You and your friends need to purchase planes of at least Tier IV and select a reliable, gifted and multitasking leader who will have the guts and skill to guide you through the event!
As a leader, first you will have to visit the appropriate section of the forum and register your interest. There you can start organising your squadron in preparation for the first mission. Please keep in mind that each language has its own thread!
If your squadron is not registered, you will not be able to participate in the mission! So keep nudging your squadron leader until it is done.
Each week we will reveal a new mission and you will need at least nine members of your squadron to successfully complete the objective. Upon successful completion of the mission, each member of the squadron will be rewarded with 300, 400 or even 500 Gold!
There will be a total of five missions. If your squadron manages to complete all five of them, on top of the above gold prizes you will also be rewarded with one or more of the below premium planes:
Supermarine Type 224 | Mitsubishi Ki-33 | Curtiss Model 81A-1 |
---|
It’s the responsibility of the squadron leader to organise the team, but it’s the team’s responsibility to choose the best person for the task. This person leading the team is not just a figurehead. The leader is responsible for reporting on the squadron’s weekly progress on the forums. If your leader misses dates or fails to send reports in the appropriate form or to the right place, you will miss out on gold!
On top of that, every squadron leader who manages to successfully lead a squadron to complete all five missions will be rewarded with an additional 2,500 Gold!
What are you waiting for? Form up and fly away!
