Silver Wing – Version 2

Sign-ups for the second version of the World of Warplanes Silver Wing tournament are already live. As we’re come closer and closer to Open Beta, it’s time to raise the stakes and get more planes in the skies at one time.  In this tournament, teams will be composed of six players each, but the tier cap of VI will be retained.

The prizes for this tournament are listed in the table below. A total of eight teams will be awarded gold prizes!

Tournament registration will last until the 1^st July, after which there will be two match days with a live stream of the final match day.

A summary of the rules is available below:

Plane Limitations:

• Planes must not be higher than Tier VI
• No specific planes are prohibited.
• Total tier points for a team must not exceed 32 points.

Players:

• A team roster must consist of a minimum of 6 players, and may include up to 2 registered reserve players.
• There are 64 team slots for this tournament, so sign up fast!

Victory Conditions:

• Each battle lasts for 15 minutes.
• To win a game, the team will need to destroy all enemy planes or win by superiority.
• If a match ends in a draw, it will be replayed.

Maps:

• All rounds will use the following pool of maps: Pacific Ocean, Plateau, Asian Border, Bay.
• Due to some maps being new additions to the game, there may be last minute changes to the map pool before the tournament games start.
