Silver Wing: Lucky Number Seven

Your engines probably haven’t yet cooled down after the last Silver Wing tournament, and we’re already starting the registration for the next edition! Will we once again see the superior firepower of Pixyl’s Praetorians? Will Zero Wing will get their revenge thanks to perfected evasive manoeuvres or will an entirely new team come to prominence?

Whether you started playing World of Warplanes in closed Alpha or once it entered the Open Beta stage, the mechanics are constantly evolving such that everyone is new to the game. This is your chance to prove that you can adapt to the new, dynamically changing world in the skies and win some great prizes on the way!

We hope that seven is your lucky number and that you will be able to utilise the full firepower and manoeuverability of the Tier VII planes. Don’t miss the first OBT Tier VII tournament!

For now, the prizes will be credited to your World of Tanks accounts. In the future the gold wallets of your Wargaming account will be combined, so you could spend the gold in World of Tanks, or you could save it instead until World of Warplanes goes live. This means you’ll have a head start in being able to buy premium planes and train your crew with it! The prizes are as follows:

The tournament schedule is simple and should allow everyone to participate!

Please bear mind that each “day” may consist of more than one round! The amount of rounds per day will be posted for your information in the proper forum thread.

Plane Limitations:

• Planes must not be higher than Tier VII
• No specific planes are prohibited.
• Total tier points for a team must not exceed 26 points.

Players:

• The main active team must consist of 4 players, and may include up to 2 registered reserve players. This means that the team roster may include a total of 6 players.
• There are 64 team slots for this tournament, so sign up fast!

Victory Conditions:

• Each battle lasts for 10 minutes.
• Tournament format: Single Elimination. This means that if you win a match, you continue playing with a winner of another match, but if you lose a match, you are not allowed to play further.
• To win a game, the team will need to destroy all enemy planes or win by superiority. The winner is determined by the system.
• If a match ends in a draw, it will be replayed.

Maps:

• All rounds will use the following pool of maps: Pacific, Plateau, Bay, Artic Region.
