Dornier 17: Show Your Photo at RAF Museum London

Greetings from the Wargaming Special Projects Team!

Wargaming and the RAF Museum recently pulled the only known Dornier 17 WWII bomber out of the ocean. We have partnered with the Royal Air Force (RAF) Museum in the UK on an augmented reality (AR) mobile app that allows you to visualise the Do17 in virtual space if you can’t make it to the exhibition in Britain.

We wouldn’t be able to support historical preservation projects like this without the support of our community, so we want to include the photos you’ve made using the app at the unveiling of our next Do17 exhibition in London. Here's how you can get involved:

Instructions

• Download the appARition app
• Find the nearest virtual Dornier 17 using this map
• Use the app to take some creative photos of the virtual aircraft
• Submit your best photo (limit 1 per person) through the “Share” function in the app

The most creative photos will be featured at the grand unveiling of the Wargaming.net Dornier 17 Interpretation Zone at the RAF Museum in London in early 2014.
