Release Tournament Recap

The first official post-release tournament was full of thrilling moments and great manoeuvres. Congratulations to all of the participants who did an outstanding job up in the clouds!

The tournament came down to a competition between Guys Who Dated Your Sister, Guys Who Dated Your Cousin, Just For Fun and XCOM. In the round-robin phase they encountered two Wargaming Europe teams.

The Wargaming teams didn’t do too well and the only victories they managed to score were against each other. The superiority of the top four teams was clearly visible in every battle. The other teams were far more evenly matched, especially GWDYC and GWDYS who eventually took 1^st and 2^nd place in the Silver Wing Release Tournament performed exceptionally well.

It’s worth noting that the teams winning Gold weren’t the only ones leaving with prizes! The watchers of the live stream were awarded with high-end Kingston HyperX hardware during giveaway contests! We’re sure that they will enjoy a better gaming experience thanks to it.
