Update 2.1.14 introduces a new aircraft, the P-38L Lightning!

This is an experimental configuration of the valiant P-38 that has noticeably increased ground attack capabilities due to additional HVAR rockets. Also, the Lightning has increased potential in aerial combat thanks to three 15 mm machine guns that allow it to engage enemies from further afield.

From July 4 (13:20 CEST, UTC +2) to August 1 (13:20 CEST, UTC +2), complete a chain of 25 missions to receive the P-38L Lightning and a decoration set (paint scheme, nose art, emblem) for your new warbird!

Missions Conditions Rewards

Mission 1		 Earn 60,000 personal points
 in any number of battles		 1 day of Premium Account

Mission 2		 Destroy 75 air defense aircraft
in any number of battles		 40 Airframe Elements

Mission 3		 Deal 1,000,000 HP of damage to ground targets
in any number of battles		  1 Advanced Uprated Engine
(Period II)

Mission 4		 Deal 200,000 HP of damage to aerial targets
in any number of battles		 1 Standard Supply Crate

Mission 5		 Receive the Rocketeer honorary rank 2 Upgrade Implementation, +100% to aircraft XP for 2 hours

Mission 6		 Earn 2,500 capture points
in any number of battles		 40 Mechanical Parts

Mission 7		 Destroy 100 aerial targets
in any number of battles		  5 High-Octane Additive
(Period II)

Mission 8		 Destroy 8 enemy aircraft
while defending sectors in one battle		 5 CO2 Inerting System

Mission 9		 Receive the  Hero of the Sky Badge 1 Supply Crate

Mission 10		 Receive the  Akamatsu Medal 2 Procurement System Improvement, +100% to credits
for 2 hours

Mission 11		 Participate in capturing 20 sectors
in any number of battles		 30 Weapon Parts

Mission 12		 Earn 120,000 personal points
in any number of battles		 5 Emergency Engine
Restart System

Mission 13		 Destroy 400 sections of ground targets
in any number of battles		  1 Advanced Engine Armor Protection (Period II)

Mission 14		 Destroy 8 enemy attack aircraft
in a single battle		 1 Supply Crate

Mission 15		 Receive the  Flying Guardian Badge 2 Intensive Training,
+300% to crew XP for 2 hours

Mission 16		 Earn 100,000 personal points
in any number of battles		  10 Heat-Resistant Parts
 5 Radio Electronics

Mission 17		 Destroy 150 aerial targets
in any number of battles		 5 Emergency Engine Cooling
(Period II)

Mission 18		 Destroy 500 sections of ground targets
in any number of battles		  30 Flight Instruments

Mission 19		 Deal 250,000 HP of damage to aerial targets
in any number of battles		 1  Supply Crate

Mission 20		 Receive the  Lambert Medal 2 Air Reconnaissance, +300% to Free XP for 2 hours

Mission 21		 Earn 2,500 capture points
in any number of battles		 1 day of Premium Account

Mission 22		 Destroy 100 air defense aircraft
in any number of battles		 10 High-Explosive Armor-Piercing Ammunition (Period II)

Mission 23		 Participate in capturing 35 sectors 
in any number of battles		 10 High-Octane Additive (Period II)

Mission 24		 Receive the Winged Legend service award 2 Steel Supply Crates

Mission 25		 Receive the McGuire Medal P-38L Lightning
1 Hangar slot
1 crew trained to 100%
1 decoration set (paint scheme, nose art, emblem)

Players who complete all the missions and bring the brand-new American heavy fighter to their Hangar will also receive a unique achievement.
