Pilots,
Have you ever been a Hurricane Hunter? Well, this month you can become one in World of Warplanes! We know that many of you have been impatiently waiting for the legendary Hurricane aircraft to arrive in-game and so, this month, we’ve decided to grant you your chance to obtain one! All you have to do to win your own Tier V Hawker Hurricane IID fighter is to complete a set of five specially prepared missions throughout September – and the warbird is yours!
Don’t worry, after challenging you to the max for the Gloster Meteor last month, we promise that the Hurricane missions will be a breeze to go through. If you play well, you’ll be able to complete each of the objectives in under an hour.
However, there will be a catch. In order to make it interesting, we will not announce the missions in advance – not in the portal and not in the ‘Upcoming Missions’ tab in-game. You’ll have to check into the game regularly, throughout the month, to catch and fulfil each mission as it goes live.
Every one of the five involved Hurricane missions will only be available for one day (24 hours).
If you miss or fail to complete one, you’ll break the sequence and won’t be able to win the aircraft. However, even if this should happen to you, not everything is lost. Every mission will not only do its part to unlock the aircraft for you at the end of the month but also reward you with a coveted bonus for completing the individual objective.
These missions are available in-game from Monday 1 September at 08:00 until Wednesday 1 October at 07:30 CEST (UTC+2).
