Two-Week Specials & Rudimentary Mission System

Starting this month, you will see some new introductions to the specials, both content-wise and in terms of how long some offers will be running. To inform you about the changes to come, please check out the information below.

Extending the two-week special format

You may have noticed that last month’s ‘You don’t know Yak!’ special ran for a full two weeks instead of just a couple of days like the usual specials. Now that it has come to a close, we’re happy to report that it has garnered enough positive feedback for us to extend the format for future offerings as well.

So this month we will follow it up with another two-week special, this time on Japanese fighters. You’ll be able to find out the details of this offer in the dedicated announcement that we will post on the portal.

We will try to incorporate this new format into our schedule so that you have at least one two-week special to look forward to every month.

Introducing the Mission Concept to World of Warplanes

Following the example of World of Tanks, we plan to introduce the concept of a mission system to World of Warplanes to spice up some of the regular weekly specials. While it won’t yet be as polished or varied as the weekly missions in World of Tanks, it will still bring some new challenges that will grant you additional rewards upon completion.
