On January 26, 1939, the Messerschmitt Bf 109 F Friedrich made its debut flight, and a day later, the Lockheed P-38J Lightning hit the skies for the first time as well.

Richard Ira Bong, one of the most effective American pilots, and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of The Little Prince, both flew the P-38 Lightning. Moreover, it was the aircraft on which the American pilots destroyed the first German aircraft.

The appearance of the Friedrich on the Eastern Front was a real surprise for the Soviet pilots. The latter even believed that the Bf 109 F was a non-existent model of the Heinkel 113 renowned for its outstanding flight performance for that time.

Let's find out which aircraft will prove itself in action!

Time and participants

From 25 January 00:00 (UTC) till 27 January 23:59 (UTC) join the battle on:

the  Messerschmitt Bf 109 F Friedrich
or
the  Lockheed P-38J Lightning

Mission

During the specified time, participate in at least 20 battles on one of the mentioned aircraft and destroy as many enemies as possible when attacking or defending sectors. Place among the top-50 best players on the server and win the battle of nations!

  • Your rating will be based on the number of enemy aircraft destroyed while attacking or defending sectors.
  • You need to participate in at least 20 battles on the chosen aircraft and score at least 3,000 personal points in each of these battles.
  • The number of battles is not limited, the more enemies you destroy — the better!
  • There is a separate rating for each aircraft.
  • One player cannot be present in both ratings simultaneously.
  • The top-50 results of each nation will be summarized, the winning nation will receive additional reward —  3 days of Premium Account.
