Pilots!
Today, the next World of Warplanes game update goes live. In this patch, the new Japanese line of carrier-based fighter warplanes has been introduced into the game!
That’s not all – testers will now also be able to organise themselves into “Flights” within the game. This aviation equivalent to the “Platoons” feature in World of Tanks will allow players to bring a whole new level of tactical aerial gameplay and teamwork into each battle.
As well as these major additions to the game features, changes have also been made to the “visibility” system parameters used in the game, improvements have been made to the in-game Hangar UI in order to simplify navigation, and further enhancements have been implemented into the Training Missions to help new pilots orient themselves.
If you’re already a tester, you can read more about the contents of this new patch in the full official 0.3.5 Patch Notes on the forums.
All in all, this should prove to be an extremely exciting update, and we hope to see as many of you as possible taking to the skies over the festive season to try it out!
Finally, if you’re not a tester yet then it’s not too late to apply for the Closed Beta Test!
We’re still adding new players into the test, so if you’ve already applied and haven’t received your invitation yet then please remain patient and hopefully we’ll see you all in aerial combat in the near future!
