Wargamers,

gamescom may be a German event, but Wargamers from all over the world congregate here to celebrate video games together. Today we want to introduce you to four Wargaming fans, who each came to gamescom from a different country. They are all here in order to see the newest version of their favourite Wargaming title. We caught up with them on the floor of our gigantic booth to find out if they think the trip was worth it.

 

Chan from Beijing, China

Profile:
Big World of Tanks-fan. Traveled 10 hours by plane just to be here. 

Came to see:
World of Tanks XBOX 360 Edition and World of Warships 

What he thinks about the Wargaming booth:
It’s very beautiful with very vibrant colours - couldn’t walk past it. 

Favourite Wargaming Goodie:
Tiger tank model 

 

Tomek from Lębork, Poland

Profile:
Usually plays World of Tanks on PC but flirting with World of Tanks Blitz on iPad. Drove 10 hours with his friends by car for gamescom!

Came to see:
World of Tanks Blitz and World of Warships 

What he thinks about the Wargaming booth:
It’s more interesting than last year - will be staying for the dance show! 

Favourite Wargaming Goodie:
T-shirt and tank model

Profile:
Says he’s a terrible pilot, avid tanker and passionate navy fan! 

Came to see:
World of Warships 

What he thinks about the Wargaming booth:
It sends a clear message about presentation of good military games and fun gameplay! 

Favourite Wargaming Goodie:
Hoping for a World of Warships Closed Alpha invite code! 

 

Juha from Jyväskylä, Finland

Profile:
Traveled 3 hours by car, 2 hours by plane and 30 minutes by train just to make it to gamescom! 

Came to see:
Not yet a Wargamer but hoping to be converted by World of Warships. 

What he thinks about the Wargaming booth:
Great booth with a lot of people around having fun!

Favourite Wargaming Goodie:
Hoping for a small battleship souvenir! 

As you can see, there are Wargamers from all over the world here at gamescom enjoying what’s clearly a great show at the Wargaming booth.
