As Wargaming continues to spread its reach around the globe, our projects grow bigger and better with the amazing community that drives it. Whether you prefer tanks or warplanes, you all help spread the word of our games, which is why our accomplishments are also yours. As such it is our pleasure to announce that World of Tanks is once again nominated as the ‘Best Online Game’ of the prestigious international Golden Joystick Awards 2013. We call the entire Wargaming Community to support our project and help us defend the title we won a year ago. We can win only with you, our devoted fans.
Thanks to you, World of Tanks already received this award a year ago, and this is not the only achievement we have. Together we’ve managed to set a new Guinness record for concurrent players online on one MMO server (according to the Guinness Awards Book), and re-set it in 2013. In 2011, World of Tanks received the title of ‘People’s Choice’ in the Russian internet segment ‘People’s Voting Runet Awards 2011’. We thank you for all those great achievements.
Let’s keep steaming ahead and break new records. Help World of Tanks with your vote to win the ‘Golden Joystick’ today so that – with a little luck – maybe there’ll be two ‘World of…’ titles nominated in the same category next year.
Attention! You can only vote once per category, so choose wisely which game you want to support. Detailed instructions can be found here.
The Golden Joystick Awards, also known as the People's Gaming Awards, are the world's second oldest gaming award ceremony, awarding the best home computer and video games of the year, as voted for by the general public. The ceremony is in its 31th year running (as of 2013).
