Pilots,
With Update 1.9.5, the entire Crew Skills system has received an overhaul.
It was no secret that the old system of training Crews and Crew Skills required some improvement and development. Crew members had a limited number of standard skills that could be gradually improved through battles, but this resulted in no significant advantages. Update 1.9.5 should rectify this issue.
First of all, there will be more perks. Second, they will become more diverse. Thirdly, there will be a difference between simple and complicated skills (Hint: the most useful skills are complicated!). Finally, there's a change to the perk earning system. From now on, you will be able to train each pilot individually and use them as efficiently as possible for a specific plane. That also means style and tactics on the same plane may differ depending on the Crew's training.
In addition, you can use all the accumulated and previously earned XP of your Crews to improve their abilities in any way you like.
The number of skills has greatly increased. Pilots have 18 skills available and Rear Gunners have 8. All skills are divided into two groups: universal skills and special flying skills. Universal ones will work automatically and do not require any player involvement, however special skills can only be activated under certain circumstances.
All skills of the Rear Gunners are universal, pilot skills can be both universal and special. Each perk requires a certain number of skill points. The more points needed to unlock an ability, the greater the effect is.
When a Crew member reaches 100% training on their speciality, they have the opportunity to learn an additional skill. Then you can earn points from XP gained in battles. Each subsequent skills costs more than the previous.
The maximum number of skill points for one Pilot is 15, the maximum number of perks is 8.
