Good day pilots and prospective recruits alike!
We recently ran a creative contest where we invited players to “re-imagine” the World of Warplanes logo in order to potentially earn themselves access to the ongoing Closed Beta phase of testing.
With only four days in which to submit their entries, we still received some excellent pieces of artwork and were very impressed by the overall standard.
In an addition to our usual judging panel composed of the World of Warplanes Community Team, we invited a special guest judge to participate in the selection process of the winners – our Global Branding Director, Al King (whom you may even remember from some of our Wargaming videos).
Taking into account his own choices from the submissions we received, we have decided to break the winning submissions down into three categories, in order to offer some extra prizes to those entries that were evaluated as being the best and most suited to the original brief!
So, without further ado, we present to you our top three logos:

Al King: “Mistaken’s entry simply exudes the key criteria of being ‘clean’, ‘metallic’, ‘industrial’ and ‘simple’ and is worthy of the "Get Airborne" tagline!”
Submitted by: slickvik
Al King: “We can't ignore the obvious talent of slickvik here, and would consider this logo as a strong contender.”

Al King: “We were also very impressed by GlowingGhost, although it's obviously a little less ‘simple’ than the others.”
These three entries will receive Closed Beta Test access (or access for a nominated friend or family member) and 3000 gold added to their World of Tanks account.
