Pilots,
Everyone knows that the spotlight of history shines especially bright on those who’ve accomplished the great, the amazing, the nearly impossible. As such it is no wonder that plane enthusiasts all around the world cherish the iconic A6M Zero and the heroics that it became known for during its service. However, what history tends to obscure is all the hard work that was done to make the emergence of such heroes possible. In the case of the Zero, none of its exploits would have happened were it not for its direct predecessor, the A5M, which took off for its first flight on 4th February 1935. Today, we intend to bring this somewhat forgotten fighter out of the shadow of its more famous brother and give it the credit that it deserves.
Use this opportunity to get to know the entire family of Japanese fighters and learn to appreciate them for their acrobatic tricks and lightning-fast gameplay! You’ve got two weeks to prove yourself before the end of our countdown to zero!
