Community Spotlight – September Edition

Dear Pilots and Co-Pilots!

We’ve put together a list of popular resources for our community! Here is our top content-driven info that we feel may be of interest to everyone!

As some of you know, a few times a week we organize different contests where you can win in-game gold and bonus codes.

Make sure you do not miss any of them by simply following us on  and . If you have your Facebook language set to *English (US)” you will need to switch it to the “English (UK)” setting in the profile settings.

Welcome to this month’s community spotlight here you will see a quick brief in part of what has been happening in the month of September. We have had many things happening for example in our Regional Contests and Events Section we have had many competitions running. So if you feel like winning some tokens/gold, drop by.

Nervous about messing up a post and not knowing how to go about making your post look good? Don’t worry we have a forums guide section where you can find out how to attach hyperlinks and pictures to your posts. You can find these in the newcomers section under forum guides.

If not and you just would like to say hello to the community team and other players please free to bob into the forums. There are plenty of things to see and learn especially in guides and tutorials section. 

Bandits at 6 o'clock - "The Brits Have Arrived!"

In celebration of the arrival of British planes, members of the EU Community team took to the skies and we asked you to shoot us down (and take a screenshot to prove it!)

 We asked our English language community members to fly a Tier 6 plane and take screenshots of the kind of amazing moments where you just wish someone was there to see. Check out these crazy shots!

Caption Contest

Thanks to all our players and contributors for their awesome work this past month. We look forward to sharing more of what’s happening in our community with you in the next spotlight!

List of Honour: This contest has been going on since July and the List of Honour gets updated each week. Our pilots share their best battle scores with us in order to get onto the famous List of Honour!

Die with Style II! The players had to send us a screenshot showing the moment when they were destroyed in battle. The best ones were the winners!

Postcard Contest: Czech players took part in an end-of-holidays themed contest, creating postcards from World of Warplanes maps that they visited over the summer. We hope you will be also tempted to remember the summer and think of all the exotic destinations we can offer!

Sell us your plane! This contest was the best way for our players to advertise their planes in a photo or video, just like a publicity campaign! We selected the two best ones for each category: video and photo.

Last Plane in Battle! There are no rules in this war! To win, you just have to survive.

gamescom 2013. Another successful year and another successful gamescom. We had a lot of fun and we want to share this experience with you. Check out the pictures from our booth and our beautiful P-51D!
