Screenshot Contest 1 – Bay

In the first of a series of contests, players were asked to submit screenshots to show off the best features of the Bay map!

Screenshot Contest 2 – Arctic Region

For the second contest, it was the turn of Artic Region to receive the screenshot treatment.

Winter Screenshot Contest

For this contest, players were asked to submit screenshots of their planes in winter scenery.

Festive Wallpaper

Players were asked to create a seasonal wallpaper from an in-game screenshot.

Bakery!

For this contest, players had to bake a plane! It could be a cookie, a cake or any form of sweet-tasting baked food!

Unequal Duel

For this in-game contest, 15 players had to destroy our community coordinator W4RGAMER’s plane using rockets and bombs only.

Festive Wallpaper

For this contest, players had to create a seasonal wallpaper with their favourite planes.

How would it look if seasonal presents were delivered by plane? We asked our players to come up with ideas!

Meet the New Team Member!

The Spanish community team are pleased to welcome J0HN_117 to their ranks. To welcome him, we opened a thread for everyone to ask him questions, and then made a video to welcome him!

Festive Song

For this contest, players were asked to take a traditional Spanish seasonal song and to create alternate lyrics about planes! Afterwards, the community team sang the winning song in a video:

We asked our players to celebrate the launch of World of Warplanes by creating a propaganda-style poster. Everyone was very creative, so take a look at some of their entries.

Happy New Year Poster

Last month we visited the Aviation Museum in Ankara (Turkey). We took so many pictures that we decided to have a contest! Players were asked to use our photos to create a Happy New Year poster for 2014.
