On Thursday, October 31, we held an amazing “Come and Play Day” at the Under the Bridge club in Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge Stadium.
Wargaming fans from around London and across the UK attended and met with Bertiux (Warplanes Product Specialist), Kabazabak (Warplanes Producer), our new guy Brynd (Community Manager) and last but by no means least, Ivan Kulbich, the Head of Warplanes Game Design from our Persha Studio in Kiev.
All who attended were provided with lots of great goodies, drinks and snacks. Contests were run on-stage every half hour or so, in which players and later Wargaming staff were invited to humiliate themselves by portraying either a tank or a warplane — but were of course rewarded with spot prizes for their valiant efforts!
Game fans who’d played together without ever meeting in person before had a chance to finally meet up at this event. It was an especially good opportunity for our more dedicated World of Warplanes fans to have a chance to talk to Ivan Kulbich about their impressions of the game. They also gained some insider knowledge of the plans that Persha Studio have to improve and enhance the game, both for the release on November 13 and beyond.
If you attended, we hope you had as good a time as we did. If you didn’t, then check out the photos below and on our special Facebook event page.
Players from London and across the UK had a chance to play special event-only accounts with all vehicles unlocked!
People were invited up to the stage to portray tanks or warplanes for great spot prizes.
Fans also got a chance to check out the Xbox version of World of Tanks!
