Capturing enemy sectors and holding allied sectors is the main task of any pilot in World of Warplanes. Each captured sector adds points to the superiority scale and brings the team closer to victory.
To capture a sector, you need to earn a certain amount of Capture Points, which can be obtained for destroying Air Defense Aircraft and enemy planes, as well as for destroying ground targets.
You receive Capture Points for destroying an enemy aircraft only if you destroy it within the sector, and the sector itself is not "locked". Air Defense Aircraft can also be destroyed outside the sectors, Capture Points will still be credited.
