April Calendar

Pilots,

The month of April will be nothing short of spectacular, bringing you suspense, surprise and specials en masse – although not necessarily in that order! After drawing you in with the traditionally fun April Fool’s Day, we’ll follow things up with not one but three history specials, an engaging three-week-long tribute to an iconic aircraft line and weekly missions that will stay with you for a long time. Naturally, the big event of this month – World of Tanks’ 3^rd European Anniversary – will be felt throughout the entire Wargaming universe and leave its mark in the form of appealing special offers that you’ll be able to grab for a limited time only!

Weekly Missions – A new set of missions will await eager pilots both during the weekdays and over the weekend to make sure you never run out of things to do when flying in World of Warplanes.

Aircraft Tribute Special – After the Yaks, the Zeros and the British Heavy Fighters, we pick a new iconic aircraft line to feature in a dedicated three-week-long special. Find out which one it’ll be on 7^th April!

Fool’s Day – As has become the custom here at Wargaming, we’ll kick April off with a fun little event to celebrate the beginning of spring in style. Be here on 1^st April to see what surprise the developers have in store for you this time!

Around the Globe – We celebrate the courage of four exceptional pilots who were courageous enough to take their custom-made aircraft on the first flight to circumnavigate the globe, all the way back in 1924.

Flying Bunkers – In anticipation of the real ‘Flying Fortress’ arriving in World of Warplanes some day, we pay tribute to all the heavy aircraft in the game that feel like ‘Flying Bunkers’. Get ready to for ground-attack goodness!

Operation Calendar – Learn about the historic ‘Operation Calendar’ that set out to deliver much-needed Spitfire aircraft to the heavily embattled island of Malta in 1942.   

End of Operation Flax – If flying your aircraft across the desert plains of “El Halluf” is your kind of thing, then you absolutely have to learn about this historic operation that involved heated air-to-air combat during the North African campaign in WWII.
