Beta Entry Contest: “Create Your Own”

Good day prospective pilots!

As the Closed Beta phase of testing continues, and applications to join have recently exceeded the 1 million mark globally, we’re pleased to be able to launch a brand new creative contest to allow you to earn your wings!

For this contest, we’d like you to “re-imagine” your own version of the World of Warplanes logo.

You can interpret the current logo in whatever fashion you like, either by restyling it (i.e. to fit with a specific time period or era in history) or by recreating it using whichever materials you like.

If possible, try to keep in mind the basic shapes and principles behind the current design, including the general vision of something clean, metallic, industrial and elegantly simple… the finer details are up to you!

Rules:

• Contest entries can be in either image format (.jpg, .gif or .png) or video (linked from YouTube), and should be posted into the dedicated entry submission thread on the World of Warplanes forum.
• For both picture and video entries, please include your Wargaming account name somewhere in the image file or video– not as part of the logo itself, but for verification purposes.
• Only one submission can be accepted per person.
• Existing Closed Beta testers are allowed to participate but, if successful, must nominate a friend or family member to receive the reward.
• The deadline for this contest will be 15:00 UTC on Friday, 14 September. As always, if you would like to check what time this is in your region, this handy Time Zone Converter should help.

After the deadline, we will review the entries and award Closed Beta access to all those that best fit the brief. Yes, that’s right – as with our last Closed Beta entry contest, any number of applicants can be chosen!
