Earn the Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb IM

Pilots, we hope you celebrated Wargaming's 20th anniversary well, namely getting a hold of your very own Polikarpov I-153 DM-4. (If you haven't acquired it yet, there is still time.) We're going into full party mode now and there's no time to rest! We previously said we weren't done with the special in-game Iron Maiden content, and the wait is definitely worth it. Here it is - the Iron Maiden Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb IM, a British Tier VI Fighter. 

Spitfires are a special breed in any case, but this one is decorated in a unique Iron Maiden style and if you look closely, you'll notice something odd is going on with the pilot... That's right, Eddie is back in the cockpit, dominating the skies and tormenting the enemy in World of Warplanes. 

 

The following missions are available from 6 August at 07:00 to 13 August at 07:00 CEST (UTC +2).

Marathon #1

Objective
  • Win a battle
Conditions
  • Tiers IV+
  • Once per account
Reward
  • +50% Crew XP
  • +50% Credits

Marathon #2

Objective
  • Deal 5,000 damage to enemy warplanes per any amount of battles
Conditions
  • Complete Marathon #1
  • Tiers IV+
  • Once per account
Reward
  • 1 Fire Extinguisher II (period 2, valid for tiers V-VII)
  • 1 Bottle for Manual Engine Restart II (period 2, valid for tiers V-VII)
  • 1 Emergency Control System III (period 3, valid for tiers VIII-X)

Marathon #3

Objective
  • Siege 5 airfields per any amount of battles
Conditions
  • Complete Marathon #2
  • Tiers IV+
  • Once per account
Reward
  • 1 Stock Collimator Sight II (period 2, valid for tiers V-VII)

Marathon #4

Objective
  • Earn 7,500 XP per any amount of battles
Conditions
  • Complete Marathon #3
  • Tiers IV+
  • Once per account
Reward
  • x5 Incendiary Ammunition II (period 2, valid for tiers V-VII)
  • x10 Universal Ammunition II (period 2, valid for tiers V-VII)

Marathon #5

Objective
  • Destroy 50 enemy warplanes per any amount of battles
Conditions
  • Complete Marathon #4
  • Tiers IV+
  • Once per account
Reward
  • Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb IM, Tier VI British Fighter
  • Hangar Slot
