Release Date Announced

gamescom usually presents some of the biggest scoops of the year, which is why we chose this occasion to share some very important news with you today. After over a year of extensive testing, dozens of new versions and thousands of Alpha & Beta participants worldwide, the moment has come to reveal the official release date for World of Warplanes.

We’re proud to announce to you that World of Warplanes will be officially released on Thursday, September 26^th in the European region.

There are still a lot of things to be done before we can take this next important step. The second stage of Open Beta is not far away, and will bring new testing conditions to will help us in the development process. Later on, you can expect to see another comprehensive update which will add even more cool new features to the game before release.

When launch day finally does roll around, a whole new chapter in the game’s history will begin. Expect  new challenges paired with the same level of air combat excitement that you’ve come to expect from World of Warplanes. We’ll keep you informed about all of the developments as we get closer to release later this autumn.
