Dear Players!
As you already know, all the results you achieve during Open Beta will be completely wiped when the game is officially released. An Open Beta traditionally serves as the last development stage of a game, when final adjustments such as corrections in balance and economics, interface and sound effects are being made, in order to check each game detail one last time. The final goal of this ultimate testing phase is to make sure the game is fair for everybody and meets the quality expectations of the team as well as the public.
We highly appreciate the contribution of the testers throughout the development process, and so, instead of having all the battle experience accumulated by players during the Open Beta vanish at the game’s release, it will instead be converted into experience for the crew of the starting Tier I aircraft of each nation.
All Open Beta participants will receive pilots with a 100% major qualification level on all of their Tier I starting aircraft (USSR, Germany, USA, Japan). In addition, all experience that has been accumulated by players during the Open Beta test will be evenly distributed between the pilots of all starting aircraft. This can then be used for training of a specific skill.
The experience you gain during Open Beta both improves your skills, and is also beneficial to your virtual World of Warplanes pilots. Through active participation in the Open Beta, you can get a 100% trained pilot for your starting Tier I plane of every nation, immediately on the first day of game release.
There’s also another achievement that will carry over from Open Beta to the final game. Your air and ground kill marks will remain proudly shining on the fuselages of your planes.
In addition to all of the above, active testing participants will also receive unique gift airplanes. Find out how you can get your hands on them in our previous news coverage.
As you can see, it pays off to be an Open Beta tester, Pilots!
