2000 ZULU. All Generals are ready at their control panels; every pilot is strapped in and the engines are warmed up.
The air smells of gasoline and tension. A new day in the fight for air superiority is about to begin.
After a day of spectacular battles and relentless struggle, new and exciting battles await us in the skies of Word of Warplanes. No matter the pain or the pressure, from now on all that matters is victory. Let the war begin!
The superiority shown by Harbor and Artic Region yesterday resulted in the rest of the Generals focusing their main efforts on ending the threat. The contest is now at a critical point, despite it being only the second day of battles.
After 40 minutes in the skies, El Halluf has Harbor in its sights.
Both Generals threaten each other. Delhroh (General of El Halluf) communicates by radio with iScending (General of Harbor) that despite the loss of points, their troops are determined to change the course of battle. They do not care about the numbers; they are determined to fight until the last drop of blood has been shed.
As the day progresses, the teams begin to change their strategies from yesterday. Dogfights lead to more elaborate tactics. With this new turn of events, it is impossible to tell what will happen after two hours of struggling. All regions are very close, near 50 points.
At around 2130 hours, Artic Region begins to stand out from the rest with 56 points, followed closely by Harbor with 51. At this time, General Chejop_Kejak (Artic Region) congratulates his troops, especially The_Flying_Ducks, a team that is having a decisive role in the war. However, the General of Pacific Ocean has special ammunition which he believes will change the course of battle.
At this moment, the ferocity of the battle increases and we witness a magnificent defence of National Park, the pilots practically leaving their skin with each manoeuvre. This proves to be one of the toughest dogfights we've seen so far. Planes from both teams fly side by side, almost looking into each other’s eyes at every turn. It smells of tension and adrenaline wherever you go.
Further north, we see that Artic Region, despite the cold, is still giving warm welcome to everyone who decides to fight against them region.
With only half an hour remaining until the end of the day, we can see the biggest difference in points so far. Artic Region continues to lead with 57 points, while languishing in last place is Pacific Ocean with 44.
No doubt today has been an incredibly intense day in the sky. Many of the teams are already fatigued after two days of relentless battle. However, all regions stand ready to end the Arctic Region’s supremacy whatever it costs.
Many more surprises are likely to be awaiting us today when the battle moves on to Tier 4 airplanes. New aircrafts and new tactics are waiting ahead to be used.
See you in heaven!
