2000 ZULU. Pilots from all regions have already reached their limits. After three intense days of restless battle, the decisive moment has arrived. What happened in the skies last Friday will become part of history. Some will be remembered as heroes while the names of others will be forever lost in time. Get airborne!
The evening starts with the Generals speaking to their troops. General Chejop_Kejak (Artic Region) remains committed to breaking the seemingly impossible 100 point barrier, but the other regions are not willing to let this happen easily.
We soon see how quickly the night becomes increasingly complicated for the Artic Region. All of the squadrons rested yesterday to tune their machines and improve their tactics. The strategies and tactics used today will no doubt be at the peak of every army’s abilities.
On one hand, some squads decided to focus their efforts on ground targets before engaging in dogfights, while numerous other teams opted to lure opponents into their territory and rely on ground artillery for covering fire.
The result shows the battles to be a lot more thrilling than in previous days. It is very difficult to guess who will win the Air Superiority Week!
During the first half of the night, we saw Harbor shorten its distance from Artic Region, putting them against the ropes. However, Arctic Region was not to be trifled with and managed to defend 4 consecutive points before engaging the other regions on their own ground.
The course of the battle had clearly changed. After 637 battles through the week, involving 139 squadrons, the score was now at its most critical point. Pilots worldwide were desperate to be worthy of victory.
Harbor went on to surprise everyone in this glorious final day by breaking through the barrier of 60.
The scores kept changing as the night entered its final hour. With only twelve battles remaining, the tension became unbearable. There was no way to guess who will emerge victorious.
However, the night soon came to an end. Over 250 players from all over the world joined in this first Air Superiority Week to showcase their teamwork. The experience has been amazing and we have definitely learned a lot for the future.
We witnessed some exceptional battles in the air. Every one of the pilots gave their best to make their region end up victorious in their own way. The highlight of this week was definitely the sportsmanship and passion shown by our competitors.
Even though each pilot has fought valiantly, only one army could claim victory that day. After the day’s end, all points earned and defended were tallied and double checked. Harbor took the daily Army Jackpot by a landslide! Huge congratulations to them in one of the most spectacular performances we have seen in a single day. The night’s final score was:
Now… The moment everyone is waiting for: The best overall army and WINNER of Air Superiority Week is:
They showed incredible skill and dedication throughout the entire week. It had been a fierce battle against Harbor for dominance, with ties against them in two of the tournament’s four days, but ultimately they ended up being the better through the rest of the week.
Congratulations to everyone! On behalf of the community team, we hope to see you once again in future tournaments! See you on the forums
