Pilots!
Update 0.5.1 has brought another step forward on our way to the official release of World of Warplanes. This new version brings significant additions to the game universe, such as new aircraft, new types of equipment and ammunition, and new crew skills.
These big changes have been accompanied with less visible adjustments to the in-game economics.
As a result, the reduction of the credit-earning capacity for Tier V and higher aircraft as well as premium aircraft has triggered a lot of questions, and so we would like to explain what is happening.
These changes are mainly related to the beta test stage of the project. The developers are still actively adjusting the economics of the game in order to find the optimal balance for the final release version of the game. During the next couple of weeks, the Wargaming team will be gathering statistics on the revamped economics model, as well as studying community feedback. The results of this analysis will directly affect further adjustments to the credit-earning capacity for all aircraft. First and foremost, premium aircraft profitability will be reviewed. It is already pretty clear that this parameter will need to be increased for most aircraft. At this stage of data-gathering, your feedback is crucial.
Please express your opinions and share your suggestions for the future version of World of Warplanes in this forum thread. The Wargaming team would like to thank you for your participation in the Open Beta Test and the development of the game.
With our combined efforts, we can only make the game better!
