New Look for the Portal!

Have you noticed? On 24^th April we updated our portal and applied a new design. Read the details about what has changed below!

Upper navigation panel

We have reworked the upper navigation panel to make searching for content more user-friendly. Note that the “Home” button has been removed.

Now, to get back to the main page of the website from whatever sub-section you’re in, all you have to do is click on the interactive World of Warplanes logo in the upper left-hand corner to return to the home page.

Just like before, you’ll be able to click on “All news” from the home page to find the complete news archive.

Game Menu

This new-look menu now holds an updated description of the game and its key features. You can find the download page and system requirements here, as well as the release notes from the current and previous game versions.

If you’re looking for third-party software to complete your World of Warplanes experience, check the Useful Software section. 

Warplanes

Everything that is related to aircraft in the game is now neatly stashed away in the ‘Warplanes’ section. It is mainly comprised of the ‘Plane-O-Pedia’, an overview of all in-game nations and the ‘Compare Aircraft’ feature.

Guides

This part of the website contains a detailed description of the game mechanics, different classes of aircraft, answers to frequently asked questions and an account security guide. If you’re a newcomer who just wants a simple step-by-step explanation of the game’s basics for your first couple of battles, then this is the right place for you!

There is also a sub-section for eSports enthusiasts in which you can find detailed tournament rules, a glossary and an explanation of our current eSports events.

Media

Just as the name suggests, this section stores all the artwork, images, videos, wallpaper, developer diaries, tech trees and much, much more that we (and you) have produced for the game.

Community

This tab takes you to the Hall of Fame where you can follow your advancement in the game. You can also search for other players, compare ratings or take a shortcut to our official World of Warplanes forum.
