In 1944, an attempt was made by Allied forces to end World War II early.

Operation Market Garden was a crucial airborne and ground operation which saw Allied troops attempting to encircle Germany. The United States’ First Allied Airborne Army was tasked with seizing and securing bridges surrounding the nation in order to clear the way for ground forces to advance into the heart of Germany. The operation was ultimately unsuccessful, with the war raging on into 1945.

Mark the 73rd anniversary of Operation Market Garden with a new series of battle missions in World of Warplanes, where you can rack up some airborne damage to earn Experience and equipment. There’s also a triple Experience bonus for your first victory during the Operation Market Garden Special!

Conditions
  • Can only be completed once per account

 

Mission: Accelerated Training

Goal
  • Deal 500 air-to-air damage in a single battle

Reward
  • x2 Crew XP

Conditions
  • Repeatable
