Finding your friends on Razer Comms
To add friends to your list, search for his or her name and click the “+” next to the right person in this list to send your friend a request. If your friend isn’t a Razer Comms user, you can send them an invite via email or Facebook.
Expanding your network: Groups & Channels
Whether you’re looking to discuss awesome piloting manoeuvres or team fight strategies, you can easily create or join a group to do just that.
Hit the “Create Group” button to form your very own, or click on “Find Group” in the Groups tab to search for a group you’re interested in joining.
Connect with friends and other players to exchange tips and tricks, share your experiences in World of Warplanes and discuss gamestrategies effortlessly as you expand your gaming network.
Voip voice chat
When you’re in the heat of battle, every second counts. Whether you’re looking for a win by Supremacy or Aircraft Wipeout, Razer Comms
helps you to chat in-game with crystal clear VoIP service. Advanced software-based noise reduction and echo cancellation, make sure you hear everything with absolute clarity, even the smack talk.
To initiate voice chat, simply click on the headphone icon in your chat window after you have checked that your microphone is plugged in and enabled.
A voice chat notification will be sent to your friend. Once accepted, various icons will light up. These consist of:
- Indicates that audio is enabled for that user.
- Indicates that the user has a working microphone connected.
- Indicates that the user is currently speaking.
- Indicates the quality of the voice connection to the server. There are 4 possible states for connection quality.These include good (3 green dots), average (2 green dots), poor (1 red dot) and bad/cannot be established (no dots).
Pinning tabs displays your chat messages in a news ticker format so you can quickly glance at incoming chat, while the VoIP overlay lets you know who is speaking.
By supporting advanced cross-game chat for a massive growing list of games, Razer Comms allows you to chat with your friends uninterrupted. Call up your in-game overlay (using ctrl + tab) to access your messages, and never have to fumble with Alt-Tab ever again.
With the in-game overlay function, your incoming messages are displayed as pop-up notifications over the game interface so that you are always in the know.
Simply press ctrl + tab for the in-game interface, and you’ll be able to reply instantly.
Customise the transparency of the in-game overlay by adjusting the sliders in PREFERENCES → IN-GAME, so it is perfectly suited to your needs.
